Disha India is in the process of setting up its first K-12 school at Karnal, Haryana. The vision is to create a school that act as hub for learning and empowerment for children, teachers, parents –and the community at large. Disha India believes that the purpose of education is to prepare children for life through life. Disha India school will work very closely with other schools in the district toward improving the quality of education in the whole district. Our inspiration is the AMUL cooperative model –and how we can re-create it in education. We have bought 7acre land near Karna lake in Karnal (Haryana) and right now we are in the process of getting “Change of land use” certificate from the Haryana Government.
